Telangana SC/ST Commission member calls for eradication of caste discrimination

​Parigi: State SC/ST Commission member Chilakamarri Narsimha on Tuesday asked officials to work hard in eradicating caste discrimination, untouchability and separate glasses in Telangana. He was addressing a meeting on the occasion of Civil Rights Day at Roopkhanpet village. 

He lamented that the evil practices still continue in Vikarabad and Tandur. The Commission member said that they would be eradicated if officials of police, Revenue, Medical and Endowment departments work together with sincerity. SC Cooperation officers Moses Babu and Ravinder, DSP Srinivas, sarpanch N Anasuya, MPDO Vijayappa, Agriculture AD Gangadhar were present.
