Ex-MLA Sudheer demands restoration OF Mansoorabad Lake

LB Nagar: Former MLA Congress leader Devineni Sudheer Reddy on Wednesday demanded public representatives and officials to solve civic problems in Mansoorabad. He along with Colony Welfare Association representatives and party leaders toured the colony. He alleged that the drainage system was damaged due to negligence. Sudheer also visited Mansoorabad ‘pedda cheruvu’. He alleged that the tank was filled with drainage water and garbage. He said that due to this, residents of surrounding colonies were suffering with mosquito menace. 

Sudheer criticised that as the gates and fencing of the tank was damaged due to use of poor quality, the tank serves as a den for lumpen elements like alcoholics and drug addicts. He demanded officials to complete the drain expansion works to avoid overflow of flood water in rainy season. The former MLA also toured Saraswathi Nagar Colony, Agamaiah Nagar Colony, Ammadaya Colony, Madhura Colony and Mallikarjuna Colony. Congress party leaders Eswaramma Yadav, Koppula Narsimha Reddy, Raghuveer Reddy, Mahesh Yadav, Vemulaiah Goud, Bhaskar Reddy, members of the colonies including Komal Reddy, Balraj Goud, Khasim, Yadaiah took part.
