OBC national meeting at Mumbai on August 7

LB Nagar: Demanding 50 per cent quota to BCs in legislatures and job promotions, National Backward Classes Welfare Association here on Wednesday decided to conduct OBC national meeting at national sports club in Mumbai on August 7. 

Association president R Krishnaiah along with vice-president G Krishna and organising secretary B Virobha Lakshmi said that 5,000 representatives from 29 states will attend the meeting. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Union minister Hansraj Gangaram, eight state ministers, 40 MPs, national leaders like Sharad Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav will take part, they said.
