Tammineni’s call to vote Bahujan Left Front to power in Telangana State
Maheswaram: State CPI(M) secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Sunday called for efforts to vote the Bahujan Left Front to power in Telangana under the auspices of T-Mass. Addressing a symposium at Tukkuguda, in this mandal, he pledged to make a woman CM if the BLF was voted to power. D Ramchander, BLF convener of the constituency, presided.
Veerabhadram, who is also BLF convener, stated that with Bahujans constituting 93 per cent of the population in Maheswaram mandal the front would make its representative Chief Minister, which would not be possible in the case of other parties. He promised to provide food by the Bahujan Bojanashala at Rs 5 in all villages, and one lakh jobs in the organisation.
The CPI(M) leader promised to provide free power to every poor family and charge the rich. He said under the ‘Chaduvula Savitri’ scheme the girl child would be educated starting with Rs.50, 000. The BLF would take the responsibility of completing her PG study. While accusing the K Chandrashekar Rao government of designing the Rythu Bandhu Scheme to suit the interest of landlords, he pledged to extend the scheme to farmers holding 15 acres.
