Haj House starts removing flexies
Hyderabad: Following a report published in The Hans India, ‘Haj House turns advertising zone for politicos’ on Monday, the authorities swung into action and started removing the flexies. A report highlighted that Haj House became an advertising zone for achieving political mileage. Following the report, the GHMC officials removed one of banners at Haj House in the early morning hours which caused inconvenience. However, it remains to be observed if the civic authorities would remove all the flexies which has become an issue.
Visitors this year have expressed concern over the increased political activity in the Haj camp. Not only the ruling party, but also leaders from opposition party have been vying to grab attention through this important religious event. Each year, the banners and posters of ruling TRS party was seen in the past four years, but the frenzy has gone up this year with cut-outs of top leaders grabbing not only attention but also space.
