Missing youth found to be safe and sound in US

 Chanchalguda: The 28-year Hyderabadi boy who was believed to be missing from New Jersey in USA and whose worried family had sought help of the Ministry of External Affairs was found be safe.

Mirza Ahmed Ali Baig, a resident of Hyderabad doing his Masters from American College of Commerce and Technology in New Jersey had been regularly in touch with his family staying in the City. 

However, he remained out of touch since July 20 triggering apprehensions amongst his family members back home. 

After waiting for three days, when the parents could not get in touch with their son they sought the help of Majlis Bachao Takreek (MBT) leader, Amjedullah Khan Khalid. 

Khan on behalf of the parents had sought the help of Sushma Swaraj, Minister for External Affairs, Govt of India and Indian Consulate in New York in tracing Mirza Ahmed Ali Baig and a complaint was also lodged with the New Jersey police. 

The matter was widely reported in some sections of the media and social media as well. 

Following the reports on Monday, Mirza Ahmed Ali Baig called up his family in Hyderabad and said that he was safe. He had left New Jersey as he was in depressvion due to his personal problems. 

“His brother Mirza Mukaram Ali Baig, who is in Hyderabad expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Counsel General in New York, New Jersey Police Department and media & social media for helping in tracing his brother,” said Amjedullah Khan.
