T-MASS to hold seminar on Bahujan Govt on Aug 12
Vikarabad: A seminar on “Government by Bahujans-role of the voter” will be held here on August 12 under the aegis of the T-MASS. District president of the T-MASS Sadhu Satyanadhan released pamphlets of the event at a programme here on Tuesday. He exhorted one and all to make the event a grand success.
He observed that the role of money in politics became highly significant as politics became a business proposition. Power to the people became a sour grape. Objective of the seminar is to sensitise the common man on the value of the right to vote. T-MASS state convener Prof Kanche Ilaiah will be the chief guest at the seminar. State convener John Wesley, BLF state convener Venkat and others would grace the event.
Even 71 after country becoming independent, SCs, BCs, STs are lagging behind and the problems of the unemployed, farmers, workers and so on remained mostly unresolved. The leaders are getting elected and occupying coveted posts with their sheer money power and not bent on resolving the people’s issues upon coming to power.
He appealed to the Bahujans to think hard before exercising their franchise and strive to elect a Bahujan government. He urged them to exercise their right to vote without yielding to inducements.
