Admission in Fashion Designing courses begins
Kavadiguda: There is good news for the fashion admirers, Apparel Training and Design Centre is giving admissions in fashion and design studies as a vocational career with 100% placements. The institute teaches them the ability to solve the problems. This institute was started in 2015 and now the classes for this year will start from this month end, 80% is practical with latest technology in the institute. The admissions are done by the personal Interview and counseling. Later, they are certified by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). ATDC in city is near Cyber Towers, Madhapur.
Apparel Training and Design Centre is established as a vocational education arm of Apparel Export Promotion Council which is sponsored by Ministry of Textiles, govt. of India, has nearly 200 skills training centers specific to the apparel industry in 22 states of the country. The faculties in the institute come from Delhi, Bangalore etc. ATDC fashion design students regularly participate in various fashion shows and work with creative teams in design studios and national brands.
Ravi Kishore Director of ATDC said, “this course is for all students be it a dropout, BTech, BCom if they are interested in fashion any education background students are welcomed in our institute.” The degree program fee is Rs20,000 per year and 33,000 for the semester programme. We also do hand holdings for the passed out students for their startups and entrepreneurship. Intensive Internship is also done in the institute. We are soon going to do a latest fashion show in 6 to 7 months,” the institute director added.
