Garbage makes clean sweep

Mallepally: Rubbish is scattered around streets of Mallepally, as there are no dustbins and is collected once in a few weeks by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) tippers. “Dustbins are too far, so the residents in area toss rubbish at road corners. Garbage on the roadside is sometimes collected by civic staff but there are no garbage bins in the area,” said Hussain, a resident of Mallepally.
