Silk India Expo receives good response
Hyderabad: The Silk India Expo -2018, that began a couple of days ago has been getting good response from people. The 8-day expo is organised by Artisans and Weavers Welfare Association at Shilpakala Vedika, Madhapur, Hyderabad.
At the opening ceremony, the Hyderabadi models Showcased Indian traditional saris collections, from different weavers states handloom saris models displayed at Cafe, HUT – k , Road no 44, Jubilee hills, Hyderabad.
Socialite Sudha Jain, organiser Manjunath along with models after unveiling the Exposition poster said , “various silk sari, handloom clusters and silk co-operative societies are showcasing their products, The intension of the organization is to make accessible and attain the products directly to the customers, without the mediators to the weavers and artisans’’ said Manjunath. The exhibition will be on till August 12.
