16th batch including 300 pilgrims from Karnataka reaches Mecca

Hyderabad: With the departure of 16th batch, as many as 4,800 Haj pilgrims have reached the sacred destination, the Mecca. On Friday, 300 pilgrims belonging to Karnataka State left for Mecca. At the Haj House Mohammed Masiullah Khan,chairman state Haj Committee, Prof S AShukoor, Special Officer Haj Committee and Ilyas Sait, former chairman NE Karnataka State RTC, bid farewell and flagged off the 16th batch of pilgrims.

Masiullah said that pilgrims should spend their time in prayers while said that the pilgrims were busy in prayers and other pious activities in Mecca. Members of the Telangana State Haj Committee Mohammed Imtiaz Khan, Arif Ahmed, Abu Talha Amjad, Mohammed Arifuddin besides Members of Karnataka State Haj Committee Syed Mazher Hussain, Abdul Jabbar Quraishi, Haroon Khiradi and M AMohi and others were present on this occasion.  TS State Haj Committee made arrangements for Friday prayers for the pilgrims at the Haj terminal. Moulana Mufti Mahboob Sharif Nizami led the prayers.
