100-crore welfare fund for advocates constituted

Siddipet: Siddipet Bar Association former vice-president Devunuri Ravinder on Monday said a welfare fund had been constituted with Rs 100 crore for advocates. Also, he said that a health insurance of Rs 2 lakh and an accident insurance of Rs 10 lakh were being implemented.
A programme for skill upgradation of judges would be implemented soon. The association thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for appointing a person belonging to BC community BS Prasad as advocate general for the Hyderabad High Court. The meeting congratulated BS Prasad on being appointed as the advocate general.
