9 get best zoo employee awards on Independence Day
Bahadurpura: Nine of the employees working at Nehru Zoological Park were awarded for their ‘excellent services’ during the year 2018 on Wednesday, as part of 72nd Independence Day celebrations.
After hoisting the national flag, Shivani Dogra, Curator, Nehru Zoological Park awarded, K Mohan, Park Supervisor, R Laxman Naik, Garden Supervisor, Venkataiah, Zoo Sergeant, K Krishna Reddy, Head Mali, K Ramulu, Head Mali, Raju, Welder, Srinivas, Watchman, MA Raheem, Watchman and Venkateshwarulu, Junior Veterinary Officer. Appreciation certificates were awarded to the best employees of the zoo who rendered excellent services during the year.
Speaking on the occasion, the curator informed that the Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, was one of the best zoos in the country, that has been made possible due to the untiring efforts of the zoo officers and staff who have rendered their services for the development of zoopark. She exhorted all the officers and staff to work with full vigour and dedication to achieve all the goals, she also informed that this day was celebrated as a festival of India which has come into being after long struggle and sacrifice.
Maqsood Mohiuddin, Asst Conservator of Forests, Dr MA Hakeem, Deputy Director, Veterinary, G Gnyaneshwar, Bhavani Shankar, Assistant Curators, MA Aziz, Superintendent, M Sandeep, Biologist, and HM Hanifulla, PRO, other zoo staff consisting of security section, animal section, landscaping and housekeeping, stores and supply, veterinary wing and office administration were also present on the occasion.
