Devotee on trip to Tirumala on foot feted

Siddipet: Senior Congress leader Anji Reddy on Thursday felicitated Seesala Raju, who embarked on a journey from Mahankali temple in Pathancheru of Sangareddy district to Tirupati on foot. 

This is the 15th time Seesalaraju is undertaking the trip to Tirumala on foot. He will be accompanied by a 16-member team to Tirumala. The objective of the trip is to pray to Lord Venkateswara for timely rains so that people will roll in prosperity.  Annually, the trip commences on Nagula Panchami.
