Akshaya Patra supplies food for Kerala flood victims

Hyderabad: Akshaya Patra Foundation, a registered NGO, is working nationwide to end hunger of underprivileged children and facilitate their education. The Akshaya Patra Foundation is supplying free meals in Kerala flood-affected areas since Monday. 

Due to the severe rains and floods in Kerala state the people are struggling a lot for food as all their houses and road access have been destroyed. Out of 14 districts of Kerala,13 are under high alert.

Many people are taking the shelter under inhabitation centers and some safe places. The affected regions are looking for support from outside. 

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is supporting those places with humanity and struggling hard to overcome the critical situations there and sending its food vehicles for the hot food supply as part of its flood relief service. 

Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, Akshaya Patra President, Telangana & AP, said that the Foundation would continue the flood relief service @ Kerala  till the situation was under control.
