‘Hyderabad ki Kahani’ City History retold in Hindi

Banjara Hills: History and Love of Hyderabad is being repeated again. But now In Hindi, with the words of veteran author Narendra Luther the book, ‘Hyderabad ki Kahani’ is a Hindi version of English book ‘Hyderabad: A Biography’ the book drafting a series of chronological stories, beginning from the age of city until governance of recent past was released here recently. 

The book is co-authored by Professor of Kakatiya University, Y Kuntam. Advisor to Government of Telangana, Ashok Kumar Goel and publisher of Milind Prakashan, Shrutikant Bharti. General Manager of Daily Hindi Milap, Vipma Veer after reading the book ‘Hyderabad: A Biography’ decided to translate it in Hindi language, so that the history of city can reach wider audiences beyond the realm of language. 

“Fragments of Qutub Shahi past are narrated in this book,” said Luther while addressing the guests at the launch. He added, “Comical love story of Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah and Bhagmati is being drafted with a detailed representation of architectural structures in the city. The book also narrates the undulating monarchies of Nizam’s reign and the story of city until the formation of new state Telangana.”
