Action sought against corrupt senior assistant of Tandur municipal

​Tandur: Two persons, including a Congress leader Hari Goud, on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the municipal commissioner seeking disciplinary action against senior assistant Chenimilla Srikant. 

He said that Srikant, who figured in a vigilance case, amassed huge sums from people approaching him for allotment of house numbers and seeking permission for  house building. 

He swindled up to Rs 3 lakh in the past by creating fake petrol and diesel bills in 2016-17. However, the vigilance officials are not able to recover the amount from him. 

Municipal officials served memo on him several times because of bad service record. Therefore, the authorities were asked to take appropriate action.
