Farmer’s family gets free insurance benefits in Zaheerabad

Zheerabad:  MLC Fariduddin  on Tuesday presented a cheque for Rs 5 lakh to the bereaved family members of a farmer B Ramulu who died on Independence Day as part of implementing the Rytu Beema scheme launched on August 15 this year.

Ramulu (53) of Raipali village of Zaheerabad mandal died of cardiac arrest on the very day the free insurance cover scheme for farmers was launched. The MLA observed that that is why farmers regard him as the God. KCR launched several schemes for the farmers. Moreover, the government is ready to disburse Rs 4000 as input subsidy under Rytu Bandhu scheme for the forthcoming rabi crop.
