Heavy rains batter Ranga Reddy, Siddipet and Medak districts

Hyderabad: The Southwest Monsoon continues to be vigorous in Telangana, with heavy rain occurring in Ranga Reddy, Siddipet and Medak districts, among others, during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday. Rain occurred at most places across the State, the Met department bulletin said.

The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) were: Ibrahimpatnam (Ranga Reddy) 7, Bejjanki (Siddipet) 5, Dubbak (Siddipet), Ramayampet (Medak) 4 each, Medak 3, Tandur (Vikarabad) ,Medchal, Peddemul (both in RR) 2 each.

There was 1 cm rain each in Mominpet, Parigi (Vikarabad), Hakimpet IAF station, Shamirpet (both in Malkajgiri), Narayankhed (Sangareddy), Bomraspeta (Vikarabad), Maheswaram, Chevella (both in  RR), Marpalle,Doma (both in Vikarabad), Sangareddy, Saroornagar (RR).
