Laeeq Ahmed Khan, the student body’s state president informed that the aim of this campaign is to highlight the unjust and passive attitude of our society, to identify the existing social evils, question the current state of our society, to promote social sensitivity in masses and thereby envision a future where all humans are socially equal, economically stable, politically empowered and hopeful for their bright futures.

This caravan will travel across the Telangana state enlightening the people, specially students and youth by various means such as district conferences at district headquarters, rallies, nukkad natak, meetings, seminars, symposiums, campus lectures, corner meets etc. This will end with a state conference at Hyderabad, Nampally exhibition grounds on September 9.

The state president further explained that merely questioning the present is not an end in itself, analyzing the problems and developing an alternative discourse is what we ought to do. Through negotiations, we must be able to dream a society free from all evils, bring back true love and brotherhood, peace and justice. Without just being at surface of the problem, a series of discussion must take place to sort out the root cause of all evils in a true scientific manner. Without addressing the root cause, a comprehensive discourse cannot be advanced, he said.

On the menace of corruption affecting the nation, he felt that humanity is engrossed in numerous forms of troubles ranging from ideological to social, political, economical and spiritual. These are just to note a few. They are so inter-related to each other that each one supplements other. “Taking any trouble at once in isolation for study may not yield better results. These troubles exist in vicious circle, aggravating each other. Our negotiations must take into account all such troubles for a healthy alternative discourse,” he added. MN Baig Zahid, General Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (TS), Kaleem Ahmad Khan, State Secretary, SIO (TS) and others were present at the flagging-off ceremony.
