Councillors demand stoppage of illegal plot sales in Tandur

Tandur: Councillors demanded stoppage of sale of plots in survey number 128 without permission at general body meeting of the municipality on Tuesday. The meeting, presided by Chairperson Sunita Sampath, observed a two-minute silence to condole the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. 

The councillors submitted a dissent note on sale of plots issue. They also announced donations to Kerala flood victims and accordingly, TDP councillor Vinod Jain handed over Rs 5,000 to commissioner Bhogeswarlu. Sunita Sampath became furious over commissioning of developments works at survey number 52 without permission. Officials Irshad, Srikanth were present.
