NALSAR students reach out to children, sensitise them on social issues
Madhapur: Five first year NALSAR students Satya, Vikram, Anishka, Aishwarya and Ankitha have been going around gov ernment schools in the city and sensitising the students on social issues ranging from environmental degradation, economic progress, health and hygiene, growing trees and on government programmes.
They also speak about their goals and give them tips on how to chalk out their career. Vikram says, “In our interaction we found that many want to become engineers and police officers.” The group of five say that they want to be ambassadors of change and provide regular awareness to the students.
“Our aim is to take opinions and ideas from these children to help curb the issue of pollution”, says one of the team members. These MBAstudents also educated them on planting saplings and the importance of fresh air which has become a necessity to residents in this country.
