The politics of economics by Dr Arvind Subramanian

Manthan, forum for public discourse is organising a programme, ‘The Politics of Economics’ by Dr Arvind Subramanian, Indian economist and the former Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India in conversation with Dr YV Reddy, former Governor of Reserve Bank of India and Dr C Rammanohar Reddy on December 10 at Vidyaranya School, Secretariat from 6pm on wards. 

The conversation Dr Arvind Subramanian, in his new book ‘Of Counsel: The Chal-lenges of the Modi-Jaitley Economy’ provides an inside account of his rollercoaster journey as the Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India between 2014-18, succeeding Raghuram Rajan as captain of the ship. In the discussion, Dr YV Reddy and Dr C Rammanohar Reddy shall engage with Dr Arvind Subramanian in a free-wheeling and forthright dialogue on this momentous journey of over 4 years as CEA.
