Meet to address binge drinking

Deccan Area Service Committee of Alcoholics Anonymous is conducting a public meeting to create awareness about ‘Alcoholism’ among public on December 15 at Padmashali Bhavan, Narayanaguda from 6 pm onwards. 

Eminent psychologists, doctors, social service workers and alcoholics will address the people’s queries to solve their problems with binge drinking. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women to share their experiences, strengths in a hope to solve their common problem, and also to help others recover from excessive drinking of alcohol.

The only requirement for the membership is a desire to stop drinking.  Alcoholics Anonymous is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution, and it doesn’t wish to engage in any controversy. It neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Its primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
