Watch: Bill Gates asked to guess the prices of groceries

Billionaire and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates who made an appearance on a recent episode of The Ellen Show revealed that it has been a long time since he made a visit to the grocery store.

The host Ellen Degeneres decided to put him to test by asking Bill Gates to guess the price of common grocery store items such as pizza rolls, laundry detergent pods, boxed rice and floss.

The audience at the show would be able to grab a prize if the prices guessed would be within a dollar for at least three of the products.

In his first guess, Gates suggested the price of Rice-A-Roni would be five dollars. However the correct price was only One dollar.

 Eventually, Gates managed to adjust his responses and come with the right prices of a few other products, guessing three out of five correctly.
