Mahbubnagar Collector orders acceleration of land acquisition
Mahbubnagar: District Collector Ronald Rose on Tuesday directed the officials concern to speed up the land acquisition works and complete all the projects in the targeted time period. There have been various new projects like construction of a new IT park, construction of new Collectorate building and construction of bypass and National Highway 167 passing through the district is going on at a snail’s pace.
The Collector enquired with the officials what the reasons for delay in the works are and asked them to resolve all those issues as early as possible and complete the land acquisition to speed up the development in the district.
At present the road widening works between Narayanpet and Mahbubnagar has got pending due to delay in land acquisition. About 94 acres of the land is yet to be acquired because of which the roads are left long pending. “There are some problems coming in the way of land procurement in the district.
Very soon we will overcome all those issues and try to complete all the pending works on time,” said Ronald Rose. Particularly, the Collector is focusing on disbursing of checks to the people who have lost their land under various projects.
Very soon the Collector hopes to get adequate funds for the same. “We are ensuring all those land losers will get their compensation as soon as possible. We are a little slow in this, but I am sure we will catch up it fast in the coming days,” informed the Collector.
