13,235 students to appear for SSC public exam
Kothagudem: As many as 13,235 students will take the SSC public examination in Bhadrachalam-Kothagudem district in March. The District Administration is making arrangements to hold the examination in 71 centres.
Last year, an estimated 14,000 had taken the examination. This year the number of students taking the examination came down by nearly 1000.
While there was no change in examination centres in eight private schools, the District Authorities identified 15 rural examination centres in remote areas of the district.
District Officer for Examinations V V Rama Rao told The Hans India that the examination centres have been identified on the basis of the facilities available. All arrangements have been taken to rule out inconvenience to students.
The CC Camera issue is sub-judice, he said adding that a decision would be taken based on the court ruling. The official said that foolproof measures have been initiated to conduct examinations.
