Deputy Collector visits patient

Luxettipet: Responding to The Hans India story on December 27, titled ‘Spinal cord surgery leaves man paralysed’, Deputy Collector Syamala Devi on Friday visited the Star physio-therapy centre and called on the victim, Srinivas. She sought details of his health problems.

The Deputy Collector assured him that the issue of government assistance to him would be taken to the Collector’s notice and promised steps for providing better treatment after holding discussions with the DMHO.  Syamala Devi conveyed her special thanks The Hans India for bringing such stories to the notice of officials. Local Tahsildar Srinivas, physio-therapist Vijay and others accompanied her.
