TDP leader flays KCR for neglecting development of Bhadradri
Kothagudem: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) District president Koneru Purnachandra Rao (Chinni) on Friday criticised the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for not devoting adequate attention to the development of Bhadradri, including the shrine.
Speaking to press persons, the TDP leader alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao appeared to be confining himself to only announcements regarding development of Bhadradri. He stated that Bhadrachalam had suffered in all respects following the division of Andhra Pradesh, while pointing out that KCR’s announcement of allocating Rs 100 crore for the town’s development was made three years back.
Rao accused the KCR of ‘cheating the people daily’ by making only announcements and failing to act on them. He claimed that the people were ready to teach a lesson to the Chief Minister for his failures, while asserting that there were no two-bedroom houses in the area.
The TPD leader stated that even Bhadradri CPI(M) legislator had failed to contribute to the town’s development. He regretted that the MLA appeared to be indifferent to take up any development work. Among those present were TDP constituency in-charge Komaram Phaniswaramma, party official representative Kodali Srinivas, MPP E K Shantamma, leaders Koneru Durga, Kunchala Rajaram, Alipasha, Malla Pratap, Kambampati Suresh.
