Telangana govt suppressing fundamental rights of people, flays TPF
Khammam: The Telagana Praja Front (TPF) alleged that the TRS government had disappointed people, who had high expectations from the party, in its three-and-half years rule.
Speaking at a round table conference held with the representatives of various people’s organisations here in Khammam on Wednesday, TPF district president Machha Vidhya Sagar stated that people thought they would happily after separate State comes into existence. But much to their disappointment, the TRS government was suppressing, harassing and arresting those who protest its anti-people policies and was encouraging encountering of innocent people.
“In the name of cordon and search operation, the police officials are creating panic among common people living in villages. The government is killing the democracy by not permitting to organise meetings and further imposing Section 144,” he criticised.
The TRS government is suppressing the fundamental rights and ruling the state autocratically, he pointed, stating that people were watching every move of the TRS government and would teach a fitting lesson in coming up days.
Telangana Joint Action Committee district convenor Dr Papa Rao, Telangana Vidhyavanthula Vedika president Dr Krishna Rao, TALKS State president Chirra Ravi, ND Rythu Coolie Sangham leader Qasim, Naga Bhushanam and Lingala Ravi Kumar, KNPS district president Modem Venkanna, Chava Ramesh, Kranthi, Dasari Srinivas, advocates Suguna Rao and Qadeer Baba and Krishna Yadav were present along with others.
