Speaking on the occasion, Rao informed that by deploying 12 teams on behalf of T-Mass, a household survey was conducted in 12 Divisions present under Khammam Municipal Corporation. The teams identified several problems the people were facing with, he said.

“Even after completing three-and-a half years rule, the TRS government is unable to solve peoples’ issues. Instead, it is boasting of developmental activities it had taken up without providing minimum and basic facilities to people,” he alleged.  Stating that most of colonies in the divisions were suffering from mosquito menace, he said there were no CC roads in Padvathainagar, Venkateshnagar, Pumpin well road, Peddammatalli temple area, Sundaraiahnagar, Srinivasnagar, Prakashnagar and Kalvakatta area. The drainage system in these areas is in shambles and needs repairs, he added.

He demanded the Corporation officials to take necessary steps for maintaining the surroundings clean and tidy by increasing the number of sanitary workers and arranging extra rickshaws for removal of garbage in every division regularly. Forum leaders’ T Lingaiah, B Yakaiah, S K Babu, S K Qasim, D Ravi, Sheelam Veerababu and Peddoju Upendra were present along with others.
