Action sought against MLA Veeresham, aides
Nalgonda: Mana Inti Party state president Dr Cheruku Sudhkar demanded SP Srnivas Rao to file a case against Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham for manhandling a PG general medicine student, Sandeep, during his visit to Kamineni Hospitals on Sankranti day.
Addressing the media after submitting a memorandum to SP on behalf of Sandeep, Sudhakar informed that when the MLA along with MP Boora Narsaiah Goud and his followers came to see a patient in Intensive Care Unit, Sandeep suggested few members to visit the patient in order to avoid infections to the patients in ICU.
Taking his suggestion as an insult, the MLA followers thrashed Sandeep in the presence of local SI. Sudhakar alleged that the SI failed to take any necessary action against the MLA followers and further sided the MLA.
He advised the SP to get the CCTV camera footage to know the facts and demanded stringent action against the MLA Veeresham and his followers. He further threatened to approach Human Rights Commission if district police failed to do the needful.
