Aid extended to Pachela road accident victims kin

Gadwal: The families of victims of recent road accident near Pacherla stage in Dharur mandal of Gadwal district, which claimed 5 persons lives, were finally given a compensation of Rs 6 lakh each by the Ginning mill association on Wednesday. The families of the deceased were given the checks by the hands of District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini.

The Collector distributed the cheques to Kammari Umapati, Kammari Raghavendra Chari and Kunte Anjeneyulu in his chambers. While talking on the occasion, the Collector also asked the members of the Ginning mill association members to also extend financial support to those who are grievously injured and who are permanently disabled with some kind of livelihood. However, the members of the association said that they will bear all the medical expenses and provide them best treatment facilities in NIMS at Hyderabad.  

The Collector said that this was one of the ghastliest accidents witnessed ever in the district. He promised to provide free education to the children whose parents have been killed and the children have been orphaned. “Children who parents are not there will be admitted in government residential schools or in KGBVs in accordance to their age and will ensure their education will be continued uninterrupted,” said the Collector. Venugopal, District Revenue Officer (DRO), Rajashekhar, President of Jinning mill association, Gadwal, Belgara Narayana Reddy, president of Walmeki Assocation, Gadwal, Krishna Reddy Amarawai former MPTC and others participated in the programme.
