400 leaders of other parties join TRS in Nagarkurnool

 Nagarkurnool: As many as 400 local leaders from Congress, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and other parties have formally joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party in the presence of Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development at a function organised at Mahabub Functional hall in Kollapur mandal on Friday. 

Speaking on the occasion Jupally said, “Many leaders in the villages and smaller towns are now attracted towards the welfare programmes and development activities of TRS government. The Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao government is touching up on each and every community and giving highest priority for their welfare in addition to taking up major Lift Irrigation project and other infrastructural development activities like development of roads, water lines and supplying 24 hours of power.”

The Minister said never before had any State government in the country had taken up so many projects and completed them in a time bound manner as had been done in the State of Telangana. The Minister enumerated that in just a span of three and half years the TRS government had achieved remarkable success in launching various major projects like Palamuru-Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation project, Thummilla Lift Irrigation and completed existing projects of Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation project, Bheema Lift Irrigation project and initiated various welfare programmes like offering Aasara pensions, Kalyana laxmi and Shaadi Mubharak, KCR Kits and other programmes in the State.
