T-Mass demands govt keep its promises
Khammam: State leader of T-Mass Nunna Nageswara Rao alleged that the TRS government did not fulfill any of its poll promises in its three-and-a-half years ruling, and hoped that it must realise its mistake and deliver on its promises at least in its remaining time.
He met Forum’s representatives taking part in the relay hunger strike at Dharna Chowk in Khammam on Friday. Addressing the agitators, Nunna alleged that TRS government did not fulfill even a single promise it made to people in its three-and-a-half years rule.
“It had utterly failed in implementing schemes like 3 acres land to Dalits, double bedroom houses to homeless poor and sanctioning of loans to unemployed youth,” he criticised. He further urged people of various sections to participate in January 22 protest in large numbers and make it a grand success.
Forum’s One Town representative D Nageshwar Rao, Bagam Ajitha, Suresh, K Saraswathi, P Ravi, B Venkata Lakshmi, T Veeramma, Padma, Sundaraiah, Ramu, Nagul Meera, Sattar, Dhana Lakshmi, Shyamalamma, Linganna and G Chinna took part in the relay hunger strike.
Forum’s leaders Meharunissa Begum, M A Qayuum, M A Jabbar, M Sathyanarayana, A S Kumar, Ramana, Jagan Mohan Rao, Lakshmi and Narayana extended their support by visiting the camp.
