MLA promises health cards, 2BHKs to auto drivers
Khammam: Local legislator Puvvada Ajay Kumar assured the representatives of ‘Telangana Auto Workers Union’ that all the problems they were facing with in the Khammam city would be resolved soon.
A general body meeting with the representatives of the Union was held under the leadership of Union’s district president Palvoncha Krishna at MLA camp office in Khammam on Tuesday.
Addressing the representatives, the MLA said keeping the heavy inflow of commuters, permanent stands will be established for auto workers at various locations in the city for their convenience.
The MLA also assured of health cards from Mamatha Hospital besides double bedroom houses to all eligible homeless poor auto workers. He also promised of separate function hall for auto workers by taking the matter to the notice of the government.
Deputy Mayor Battula Murali Prasad, TRS city president K Murali, Union leaders Lakshminarayana Goud, B Sitharamulu, Mahesh, Chary, Sattar, Brahmam, Johny, Akram, Upendar, Shiva and Chandu were present along with others.
