T-MASS alleges Suryapet Collector as govt mouth piece
Suryapet: Tension prevailed at T-MASS protest demonstration before Suryapet Collectorate on Monday and a few activists were injured during police caning. After conducting ground-level survey on public problems, demanding Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao fulfillment of pending promises including 2BHK houses, 3 acres land to poor dalits, KG to PG free education, T-MASS on Monday staged a dharna at the collectorate.
After submitting a memorandum to District Collector Surendra Mohan at the entrance of the Collectorate, protestors criticised the Collector in a loud voice that he became the mouth piece of the government by ignoring public problems.
They blocked the way of the Collector, who tried to leave the spot. Tension prevailed and the police were forced to cane the protestors in order to let go the Collector from the spot. A few protestors were injured in police lati charge.
In Bhongir also, police prevented the T-MASS activists from taking out a rally to the Collectorate and to stage a dharna there. In Nalgonda, CPM state leader, former MLA lead the T-MASS protest on pending poll promises of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and other public issues.
