Complete Yadadri works in time: Minister Indrakaran
Nalgonda: Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy ordered the officials concerned to complete the Yadadri development works as per schedule. Along with District Collector Anitha Ramachandran, YTDA vice-chairman Kishan Rao and temple EO Geetha Reddy, he reviewed the progress of Yadadri makeover works on Monday.
Following the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao’s orders of submission of monthly work report, the Minister evaluated the progress of works in the last two months. As the slab of the main sanctum of the temple was completed as per schedule by January 27, he urged the officials to complete the Mukha Mandapam works by the end of March.
Directing the officials to complete works of the 47-feet height Gopuram of the main sanctum by the end of May month, he ordered the respective engineers to maintain 32 layers as per the Gopuram design.
YTDA vice-chairman Kishan Rao informed that they are taking the advises of subject expert engineers for better output besides using the services of Roads and Buildings engineers. After copper plating, temple Dwajha Sthambam would be gold plated, he added.
The officials informed the Minister that of the 2.7 kms of Giri Pradakshina works has been completed, who told them to complete all the works by February. The officials were also told to complete all the civil works by summer and to utilise the rainy season for planting saplings and for landscape works.
As the auspiciousmuhurtham falls on February 5, the Minister suggested the officials to start construction works of Vimana Gopuram and Hanuman Temple on that day and complete the works by the end of April month.
He instructed the officials to finish the works of Goddess Andal temple, slab of Kakatiya pillars by February and works of the eight retaining walls by the end of March. Officials explained that the works of Vratha Mantapam will be completed by March. Temple EO Geetha Reddy said that tenders were called for setting lighting system and other infrastructure works in the main temple.
