Preparation for SSC exams in full swing

Khammam: With the SSC exams fast-approaching, the students of both private and government schools across the district are facing a tough time in preparing for the examination. 

 While students are finding it difficult to complete the revision work, the CCE pattern of syllabus and orders issued by the government for strict invigilation is giving sleepless nights to the students.

Meanwhile, the District Education department is busy drawing an action plan to place the district on top position in upcoming SSC examinations. Several meetings were conducted with the principals of various government schools to discuss the preparatory planning to face the examinations.

Bhagya Lakshmi, a government teacher said, after the completion of first summative exams and by identifying the shortcomings, special classes were taken up to improve the grades and help students gain confidence, especially to those who were found scoring less. 

The school managements of many private schools are taking serious steps in preparing the students for SSC examinations. They have started conducting special classes for the students after Sankranti holidays besides taking tests on daily basis. N Sampath Reddy, a private school correspondent said, “A perfect revision plan is made to help students face SSC examinations. 

The plan includes topic-wise revision classes everyday followed by a cumulative test during weekends, which would continue till February second week before pre-final exams. The students are showing significant progress in the revision tests conducted.” Special training is also given to bright students with a view to help them secure more marks thus improving grade, he added. 

S Sathyanarayana Chary, who runs a coaching centre for competitive examinations said as per the new system, the students must prepare for the examinations perfectly focusing equally on all subjects along with following certain rules strictly.
