Trainee cops told to aim for citizen-friendly policing
Nalgonda: IG (Personnel) Shivadhar Reddy advised the passing out trainee constables to bring glory to Telangana police by discharging their duties properly and by implementing citizen-friendly policing.
Reddy took part as chief guest to the passing out parade organised at District Training Centre in Nalgonda on Wednesday. Around 241 stipendiary trainee constables completed their nine-month-long training on Wednesday. Stating that constables were the icons of the police department, Reddy suggested them to improve their expertise and maintain physical fitness to work effectively.
The IG further distributed the mementos to the trainee constables who won indoor, outdoor and overall events. District SP Srinivas Rao, ASP and DTC principal Padmanabha Reddy, DSP Sudhakar, CI Pratap, DTC staff and others attended the programme.
Similarly, Telangana State Special Police Stipendiary trainee constables passing out parade was held at 12th battalion located at Annepathy village of Nalgonda mandal on Wednesday.
