Collector calls for setting up of more Janahitha centres
Suryapet: District Collector Surendra Mohan suggested the Tahsildars to improve their skills and update knowledge about various schemes and help district achieve cent per cent implementation.
The Collector on Friday advised the officials concerned to arrange cells in Tahsildar offices similar to Janahitha cells to carry out registration process. He further advised them to arrange air conditioners at reception centres for the convenience of people.
He advised the officials to transform at least 5 to 6 Tahsildar offices as model offices in the district. In this connection, he directed the Tahsildars of Suryapet and Huzurnagar to start modernisation works of their offices immediately. Stating that official teams from all the districts in the State were going visit Suryapet to study Janahitha programme, Surendra Mohan called upon officials to put the district on top spot in the State when it came to modernization of Tahsildar offices.
At the end of the meeting, the Collector unveiled the 2018 diary prepared by district revenue officials organisation. Joint Collector Sanjeeva Reddy, DRO Yadi Reddy, AO Pradyumna, Tahsildars Mahamood Ali, Ramana Rao, Suresh Kumar, Santosh, Kiran, Sridevi, Rajya Laxmi, Yadbai and others were participated.
