Yadadri Brahmotsavams from Feb 17
Yadadri: The annual Brahmostavams of Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy temple on Yadadri hill shrine would be conducted from February 17 to 27, in a big way. As per the schedule, Brahmostavams would start on February 17, with Swasthivachakam and Vishwaksena puja.
While the Dwajarohanam ritual; would be performed on 18, Sheshavahana Seva would be carried out 19. On 20, the Lord would give darshan to devotees in Sri Krishna avatar. Vatapatrasai Seva and Ponnamvahana Seva would be conducted in the morning and evening respectively on February 21.
On 22 and 23 besides Simhavahana Seva and Aswhavahana Seva, the Lord would appear as Goverdhana Giridhari and Edurukollu ritual would be performed. On 24, the celestial wedding of Lord Narasimha Swamy with his consort Laxmi would be carried out at ZP High School Ground down the hill. Thousands of devotees are expected to witness the visual fete.
On 25, Radostavam and Purnahuthi and Chakra Snanam of presiding deity would be conducted on February 26. The Brahmotsavams will come to an end with Astothara Shatha Ghatabishekam on February 27.
According to sources, temple authorities invited Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and noted seer China Jeeyar Swamy for Brahmotsavams event. Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Chief Minister might visit Yadadri on February 24 to attend the celestial wedding besides offering silk clothes on behalf of the government. Meanwhile, temple authorities have been making elaborative arrangements to make the event a grand success.
