Chakrateertha Mahotsavam performed at Yadadri

Yadadri: As part of Brahmotsavam celebrations, Chakrateertha Snanam ritual was performed at Yadadri Balalayam here on Monday amidst chanting of Vedic hymns. Maha Purnahuti ritual was also conducted at the temple. 

On the directions of noted seer Tridandi China Jeeyar Swami, the Sudarsana Chakram of the deity was bathed in river water in a silver utensil.  Later, the water used in Abhishekam of Sudarsana Chakram was poured into the Vishnu Pushkarini amidst much fanfare. The devotees took a holy bath in the pond. The Brahmotsavam celebrations will conclude with Sataghatabhishekam to the presiding deities on Tuesday.
