2 killed, 5 injured in separate incidents

Wanaparthy/Nagarkurnool: In two separate incidents that took place in Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool districts on Monday, two persons were killed, and five others suffered injuries. According to sources, five persons were severely injured in Rajapet village of Wanaparthy district when a speeding car lost control and overturned at a culvert. 

All the five injured were shifted to Nagarkurnool district hospital for treatment. Similarly, a 22-year-old man, Ashok, was killed in Kottapet village of Peddakottapally mandal of Nagarkurnool district when the tractor he was driving fell in a canal. 

In another incident, a woman, Chandi (36) of Chedurubai Tanda, from Veldanda mandal in Nagarkurnool district was electrocuted while she was trying to recharge her cell phone in her home.
