Cordon & Search op conducted in Jadcherla mandal
Mahbubnagar: With an aim to curb antisocial elements, Superintendent of Police B Anuradha along with her police force conducted cordon and search operation at Indiranagar colony under Jadcherla mandal in the early hours on Tuesday. According to police, it is suspected that the suspects are taking shelter at Indiranagar colony and other surrounding areas in Jadcherla and Badepally old bus stand region.
In view of this, the district police launched a late night operation and cordoned off all the roads leading to the Indiranagar colony and conducted a house-to-house search and inquired with the residents and the house owners about the movement persons under suspicious circumstance in the colony. “As part of precautionary measure, the district police embarked on conducting regular cordon and search operations in the areas where persons with criminal background are suspected to be taking shelter.
“We have formed two special parties and conducted house-to-house searche and took 10 suspects into custody as they had not shown proper proof of their identity. We have also seized 11 bikes from them as they have no proper documents for the same,” said the SP.
As part of the cordon and search operations, more than 200 police personals including an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), five circle inspectors, eleven Sub-Inspectors, 20 Assistant Sub- Inspectors and two special party police teams took part in the search operations.
