Take up mulberry cultivation, farmers told

Kothagudem: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) district development officer BV Rao on Tuesday inspected mulberry gardens during his visit to various mandals in the district. He visited Thimmapeta, Panduranga Puram and Penuballi villages in Mulkalpally, Palvoncha and Chunchupalli mandals in the district. 

He encouraged the farmers to cultivate mulberry gardens by explaining its various benefits. He said the department staff to encourage farmers to take up mulberry cultivation. District Horticulture Officer Marianna and other officers accompanied the NBARD Officer.
