2 houses burgled, gold looted
Choutuppal: Burglars broke into two houses in a colony near bus station in here and decamped with a booty of 9.5 tolas of gold and Rs 1.75 lakh on Sunday midnight, according to police.
One of the houseowners Laxminaryana along with his pregnant wife Radika went to Hyderbad for medical checkups and returned after the three days on Monday morning. He was was shocked to find that doors of his house being broken open.He complained to the police that buglers had stolen 6.5 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 1.50 lakh cash.
Thebuglers broke into the Kota Narsimha house in same colony by breaking open the doorsand decamped with Rs 20,000cash and three tolas of gold. Owner of the house Narasimha with his family members went to visit the Cheruvugattu temple on Sunday and returned home on Monday morning to find to their shock that their house was burgled.
On information, the police rushed to the spot with Clues team and collected the finger prints and the footage from CCtv cameras in the colony for investigation Choutuppal ACP Ramesh along with CI Venkatiah visited the spot.Choutuppal police registered cases and took up investigation.
