Young farmer commits suicide
Nalgonda: A debt-ridden young farmer committed suicide at his house on Sunday night at Lakkinenigudem under Chandur Gram Panchayat. The deceased was identified as Avula Lingaiah,33. He took the extreme step as he incurred huge losses in cotton farming and poultry.
According to villagers, the farmer had borrowed loans from private moneylenders and cultivate cotton in his two acres of land. He also took eight acres on lease and cultivate cotton in Gumdlapally village. He had also established a poultry farm. But he incurred huge loss, the villagers said.
Family members shifted him to Nalgonda District Government Hospital. He died whiletaking treatment on Monday. Chandur Police registered a case and took up investigation.
