65 petitions received at Bhadradri Girijan Darbar

Bhadrachalam: As many as 65 representations were submitted during the Girijan Darbar held at Integrated Tribal Development Office here on Monday.   District tribal officer Ch Rammurthy and special deputy collector B Venkateswarlu received the applications from the tribal people and directed them to the officials of concerned departments.  

Though the darbar was commenced at 11 am at the office, there was no response from the public till afternoon. Later Rammurthy and Venkateswarlu directed all the unit officers to clear the wells and repair hand pumps in tribal villages immediately. The unit officers also told to visit villages and submit the list of problems to be discussed at the next Girijan Darbar.

District tribal officer Rammurthy said that the officer should submit utilisation certificates for TRICOR loans scheme immediately. Every officer should encourage the people to utilise all the schemes implemented by the government.  Rammurthy discussed progress of schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, TRICOR, horticulture, bhavitha and Indira Kranthi Padham with the officials concerned. 

IKP assistant project director R Jaya Sree, assistant project director P Balaram, agriculture officer Tata Rao and other unit officers participated in the programme.
