CPM appeals to people to make party national meet a success
Khammam: State Committee leader of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) Buggaveeti Sarala on Tuesday urged the party activists and the representatives of various people’s organisation, besides the people belonging to all sections, to participate in large numbers in the party’s national conference, to be held on April 22 at Hyderabad, and make it a grand success.
Khanapuram Haveli Committee of the CPI-M started publicity campaign here at Khanapuram Haveli in Khammam on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Sarala alleged that the communalism had reared its ugly head under the BJP-led NDA rule. Along with it, attacks on the weaker sections too had increased.
The people are living in fear across the nation. The BJP along with its affiliate Rashtriya Sawayam Sevaksangh (RSS) are attacking communists and are demolishing the statues of great personalities like Lenin and Dr B R Ambedkar and creating panic among the people across the nation, she observed.
She urged the party activists and representatives of various people’s organisation along with people of all sections to attend the national conference in Hyderabad on April 22 in large numbers and make it a grand success. The CPI-M party leaders Bandi Padma, D Thirupathi Rao, T Venkateshwarlu, T Nagaraju, Ramya, S Srinu, Thilaknath, Nageshwar Rao, B Papa Rao, Venkata Swamy, Murari and P Rambabu were present along with others.
